In the 20th century, human kept on modifying rivers and lakes through industrialization. Today many lakes in the world are facing with various environmental problems. Origins of these problems are caused by human activities around lakes and rivers. Starting the new century, we believe it is very important for us to see changes of lake environment through the last century and to think of future of desirable relation between human and water.
