Paris inundated

Fabert street, on the Invalides esplanade, Paris
(France)

This photo is taken from the Fabert street to the Seine River. It shows the damages of the flood of 1910. An officer and his wife are carried to a cart. On the left, the road is bordered by footbridges for people to circulate without getting wet. The Fabert street is still bordered by the trees continue from the Invalides esplanade that was planned in 17th century. Some buildings no longer exist today and notably the second building replaced in 1912. On the back, we can see the dome of Grand-Palais. Crossroads are regulated by traffic lights in three colors.
