Fishermen of Sunday

Quay of Orfévres, Paris
(France)

Quay of Orfévres on the Cité Island during the flood of 1910. People are taking advantage of the rise of water for fishing directly from the sidewalk. Further on the right, we can see a statue of Henri IV and on the left, a lot of boats are stopping blocked by the Pont Neuf. The place does not seem to be modified. We see better details of the Pont Neuf, the oldest bridge of Paris which ties the right bank to the left bank and overlaps with the Cité Island. This part of riversides is dedicated to promenade. (P.
