The bath for horses

Quay of the Seine, Paris
(France)

This photo shows a man bringing two harnessed horses to the bathing place in the Seine. The bath is useful for refreshing animals as well as quenching their thirst. Their harnesses indicate that they were used for traction. This zone is limited by logs fixed to each other. (P. Pellegrini)
