Fish farm and a place where people gathered alga
Oroshimo Town, Kusatsu City, Shiga (Japan)
Near the fish farm and a place where people gathered alga on the Karasuma Peninsula. The alga taken from here was mixed into the rice fields and other corps as a fertilizer. At the same time taking out alga had prevented eutrophication of the lake. We can see the Hiei Mountain beautifully reflecting on the pond in the twilight. Here we find today our Lake Biwa Museum.
